Last night the boys weren't feeling well so Adam and I let them sleep in our bed. They are so precious!

Dana's Bday

Adam and I went out Saturday night for Dana's birthday and had a blast! Here are a few pics from that night. We ate dinner at Ichibon, went bowling and then went out. Needless to say we were tired the next day. Happy Birthday Dana and thank you for being such a good friend!

The Girls Had Fun Too!!!

They loved riding the rides and climbing on the toddler gym! They were so sweet all night. Of course they did spend an hour eating, but we wouldn't expect any less from them.

Happy Birthday Boys!!!

We took the boys to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate their birthday. Their friends all came to celebrate with them! Everyone had a fantastic time. Even Uncle Matt was able to make it since he was in town. They loved playing with him and all the toys he got them!





Garrett loved putting all the coins in his pocket it was soooo cute! Gavin's little feet couldn't stay still. He is always so happy.

Adly Taylor

Adly is the sweetest child ever! She is so sensitive, so she does spend a lot of time crying, but we love her just that way. She is usually so obedient, hence this picture. She was the only one who was enjoying watching videos on the computer. All of her siblings were being BAD so they were kicked out while Adly enjoyed her nursery rhymes.

Avery Taite

I really wish that everyone would get the opportunity to meet Avery. This child has so much personality it isn't funny. I often look at her and ask what I am going to do with you, Adam is always quick to say well what would you do with yourself? Yesterday I was cooking lunch and she and Adly were sitting on the counter watching me. Well, Adly started touching things that she shouldn't have been touching so I quickly popped her on the hand and took her off the counter. As expected she starting crying and Avery looked at her sighed and rolled her eyes! I just about fell on the floor laughing, it was such a grown-up reaction. She is a professional eye roller! She has been rolling them at her GG since she was 6 months old and they still have a love/hate relationship. Oh she is something else!!!

Man After My Heart

Garrett Tristan is going to make the perfect husband for some lucky lady!!! He loves to help clean, cook and he is so compasionate. Just the other day we were playing outside and when I told them it was time to go inside I asked that they all clean up. As usual Gavin, Adly and Avery just come inside and plop themselves on the sofa and Garrett and I stay outside to clean. When I turned around after picking up some balls this is what I saw. He was calling this his garage. Such a smart little boy!!!

25 Random Things About Me

1. Words cannot describe how much I love my children. I really never knew you could love another person so much.
2. I am still in shock that I have 2 sets of twins and it was ALL natural, no drugs needed.
3. I am so crazy that I desperately want more children! Unfortunately Adam said he wouldn't have his vascetomy reversed.
4. The coolest thing ever is watching the babies interact with each other. They have their own language and my favorite thing is to catch them all talking to each other and laughing away. I mostly think they are talking about me when they are doing that.
5. I love that even though they are twins they all are their own person. They have 4 completely different personalities!
6. I am very proud that I breastfed each one of them and for so long! Especially since most people doubted that I could do it.
7. I would love to persue a career being a lactation consultant and doula.
8. I regret having my children in the hospital and not at home as I had planned. I let too many people get in my head with their negativity.
9. I am so proud of my husband. He is more successful than I could have ever imgained! He is a wonderful husband and Father. I am truly blessed to be married to him!
10. I think it is the oddest/neatest quality that Adam has is he can completely tune my bitchness out. 8 years of practice makes you really good at it I guess.
11. I am shameless addicted to my Soap Operas. I literally get very anxious if I miss 1 episode!
12. I LOVE reality TV!
13. I love to cook. It is a great way for me to de-stress. I really just love food in general.
14. I am obsessed with cleaning and organizing. No matter how much I clean it is just never enough.
15. Mustard is my favorite condiment. It is kindof gross how much I like it.
16. I have 4 really close friends and not one of them are anything alike.
17. My sister is my best friend, always has been and always will be. I really admire and look up to her!
18. It is sad to admit this, but even though Meagan is younger than me she is more mature than I am. This is why I still "pop" her nerves.
19. I am ALWAYS in need of an alcoholic beverage.
20. Adam and I are like celebrities when we go out with the children. People literally stare at us, talk/whisper about us. It is really funny.
21. I find it very enjoyable to work my Mother into a complete frenzy. It is really funny and easy.
22. I love talking politics with my Dad. We are both die hard Republicans!
23. I get along with people from all walks of life. My biggest pet peeve is people who judge others.
24. The people that make me really angry are those who take advantage of others. That is the biggest insult that you can give someone because you are basically saying that they are stupid. I WILL NOT have someone like that in my life.
25. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to post a note on Facebook.

Playdates

Adam and I have been busy this week taking the kiddos on playdates with our good friends the Schumanns. Wednesday night we took all the kids to Chuck E Cheese for the first time, they absolutely loved it! I think their favorite part was putting the coins into the slots! Needless to say lots of rides were wasted. Avery took it upon herself to go behind the counter and try to take all the prizes. I was a little embarassed, but then I realized that this little girl has some personality! She and I are going to go rounds when she turns 16!

Today Dana and I took the kiddos to Jump N Jungle. They had a blast! It is so nice for them to get out and it is nice for me that they wear themselves completely out. Dana and I always get funny looks when we go places because between the 2 of us we have 7 kids and 6 of them are twins! People certainly think we are crazy. We always have such a good time!

Adam is in the Dog House!!!!

Friday evening I took the girls to Hobby Lobby and DSW and told Adam that he and the boys needed to go get their hair cut. When those little boys walked into the door I was in shock. I was so mad at Adam that I could have hit him and so sad that they boys no longer had hair I cried. Adam, thinking he was funny, looked at Avery and Adly and asked them if they wanted Daddy to take them to get their hair cut they both quickly told him NO!!! I told Adam he doesn't have to worry about anyone's hair being cut but his own from here on out.

Rare Moment

I caught the girls playing so sweetly with one another the other day and even got a couple of good pics! These 2 little girls are very high maintenance. They think they need to be help at all times, and their Daddy always caves in. Needless to say I am thankful that they still like/want to be held b/c they are my babies!

Cool Whip

Last week the boys woke up from their nap before the girls and I was busy on the computer so I turned on the TV thinking that they would finish waking up until I could complete my task. As I was finishing what I was doing, I notice them walking into our bedroom with the cool whip and a tablespoon each! It was so funny seeing the 2 of them eating the cool whip with a tablespoon. Needless to say they finished the tub before the girls woke up!

3 Years Ago

Twin Talk

This is one of the most amazing and fun things about having twins. The way they look at each other and just know what the other one is thinking. It is so sweet to catch them all 4 in the playroom talking to each other and me not understanding a word they are saying, but they all know what is being said and are usually laughing. It is so cool how the girls just picked up on the boys language. How nice is it that they always have their best friend with them? They all love each other so much and always will.

Date Night

Some nights Adam and I have stay at home date nights. After the kids go to bed I fix us a nice dinner and we have a some wine and just hang out with NO distractions. Last night was one of those nights. I made us orange roughy with a delicious Mediterranean topping, garlic mashed red potatoes and asparagus. It was so tasty!
